Welcome Not So Little One!
The Backstory I am so excited to announce the arrival of CS (pronounced kiss) into our little family! When hubby and I decided to adopt, we spent time visiting online adoption centres, trying to learn as much as we could before making a decision to ensure that whichever one we focused on would be a good fit for our household. Once we narrowed it down to our top two choices, we ventured into the adoption store to learn more, and to try to get a more personal feel. When we arrived, we looked over the two we were interested in but our eyes were drawn to another. She was bigger than we were considering but, once we laid eyes on her, our hearts were stolen. When hubby picked her up, he couldn't put her back down. He cradled her carefully while I signed the adoption papers and paid the adoption fees. Hubby lovingly placed her in the car and the three of us were off to start a new life together. When we arrived at home, we carefully unwrapped her so we could place her in her new room. The...
